When should a company contract BEE2Business’ services as opposed to submitting evidence directly to a Verification Agency?

Scenario 1
Measured Entity believes that they (1) are sufficiently prepared to submit appropriate evidence to an agency and (2) have the desired level of BEE compliance

Suggestion: In this instance it would be faster and more cost effective to directly engage a Verification Agency for verification and issuing of a certificate

Considerations before final decision are taken:

  1. Should (1) and (2) above not be the case then having taken the direct route to the Verification Agency will proof to be most more costly and timely
  2. Do not rely on the Verification Agency to provide you with advice on compliance measures. If they do offer advice then it will be just be a matter of time before they are found out which will then compromise their accreditation status and even disqualify the validity of your certificate. A Verification Agency may not mark its own advice!
  3. You need to ask yourself whether the BEE initiatives undertaken are yielding the best returns for your organisation. BEE2Business has had dealing with hundred of companies and your organisation could leverage from our experience gained. BEE Verification is an annual event and contribution must be made every year.
  4. What recourse do you have should your claimed BEE measures not be recognised? BEE2Business assists Measured Entities to claim BEE recognition on rightful contributions even if it is disallowed by a Verification Agency.

Scenario 2
Measured Entity has a low level of BEE compliance and readiness for BEE verification

Suggestion: In this instance it would be advisable to contract with BEE2Business to assist your organisation
