Enterprise Development (including Sector Specific Contributions) |
Enterprise Development contributions (ED) are monetary OR non-monetary, recoverable OR non-recoverable contributions in favour of qualifying beneficiaries with the specific objective of assisting and/or accelerating the development, sustainability and ultimate financial and operational independence of that enterprise.
To qualify as an Beneficiary of Enterprise Development the entity has to fulfill the following citeria:
- Category A enterprises are 50% black owned EMEs and QSEs. A multiplier of 25% will apply if a contribution is made to such entity.
- Category B enterprises could be summaries as 25% black owned entities with and BEE status between level six (6) and level one (1). or
- Were an agreement between the measured entity and the beneficiary does exist to improve the beneficiaries BEE score and certain further criteria are met. .
