Employment Equity |
| The Employment Equity element refers to an enterprise’s contribution to provide employment to Black employees, Black women and Black disabled employees according to the occupational levels as stated by the Department of Labour. The context of employment equity is strongly premised upon the provisions of the Employment Equity Act of 1998. The Generic scorecard measures the employment levels of disabled black employees, black employees on Senior-, Middle- and Junior Management. Reporting is done on the basis of the occupational levels specified in EEA9 and Black persons includes Black, Coloured and Indian employees. QSE Scorecard measures the % of Black employees on Management levels and the % of Black employees as a % of ALL employees. Bonus points can be awarded if the employment profile of the measured entity does meet the targets of the Economically Active Population (AEP) of that geographically area.
